How much money is to rebuild a tranmission on a 2000 Dodge Durango? When they rebuild they clean the tranmission ? Because right now I got a broke seal on the tranmission so I just waiting for the tranny to run out of oil to get it rebuilt! Is amazing with 92k miles already have a broken rear engine oil seal and the tranmission seals is leaking! Next time I buy a jappanesse cars!|||they usually just trade your tranny to a rebuild shop for one that has been rebuilt and they put it in, your looking at $2,500 anyway for the tranny and installation.
Go ahead the next time and buy a foreign car and help america recover, thats why this country is in the shape were in because everyone thinks foreign is better, you better read the latest statistics on american cars VS foreign cars.|||If you wait till the transmission runs out of oil, you will be spending a crapload of money if not replacing the entire trans. Get the seal fixed. spend a little money now and not 2-3 thousand down the road.
