What can i do to improve the performance of my dodge charger?

My car is a 2006 dodge charger sxt. It has a 3.5 liter v6 engine with 250 hp. What are some things i could do to it to make it faster. Some one told me i should chip it but i'm not sure how much that would improve performance. Please give me some suggestions and maybe prices of what some performance parts would cost. And please no comments saying that i should have got a v8 charger, because they costed way more and just weren't an option.|||add you a programmer to it, it allows you to gain in rpm,s and also over ride the top end of it as well as advance the timing and alter the fuel air ratio on it,that's the best bang you can get for your money these days on adding horse power to them,don't waste your time though on a chip for that car their useless,good luck.|||a chip is a good idea you can get them off ebay pretty cheap but theres a few things you can do yourself maybe a cold air intake an exhaust system would help.
