How do you dodge attacks really good?

Everytime I want to dodge an attack it always hit me!!! I want to know how I can dogde like a pro or how to dodge an attack very good,so I won't get badly bruised!|||Boxing. You should try to dodge just by moving your upper body so you dont lose your footing or lose ground and instead of keeping eye contact like some fighters do you should be looking at thier shoulders area because when thy throw a punch you will see it instantly rather than after it is too late. it is best not to lean back to dodge either because it leaves you in a vulnerable position and off balace. Sometimes blocking isn't an option but with a good stance you wont need to dodge alot, keep your hands up by your face, chin tucked down, and elbows close to the body so instead of having to dodge body shots you can just move your elbow a few inches and they will end up breaking thier hand on your elbow|||get some safety goggles (or a motorcycle helmet)

and have a friend throw tennis balls at you.

Then have him attack you with wiffle bats, one in each hand.

Only blocking and dodging, no grappling.

You would be surprised at how easy a fist is to avoid!|||Dodging alone will not do it.

You will need to block, deflect and redirect much more often than outright dodging.

By "dodge" I assume you mean moving in such a fashion that the blow, kick, whatever misses you entirely.|||Training, training, training, and more training. And did I mention training?
