How difficult is to install a water pump on a 1996 Dodge Shadow?

Some guy is offerering me to buy his 96 Dodge Shadow for 600, only thing is the water pump is bad and he'll throw in the replacement, if i fix it myself. Would it be worth it?|||Depends on which motor. the 2.5L engines are not that bad since it is on the outside of the engine. However, the 3.0L engine is a little worse since it is run by the timing belt.|||If its located on the out side, its as easy as taking off the belt unbolting it, and breaking it loose to take it off.Its pretty simple just make sure you lubricate the O-ring with some type of silicone grease before installing it back in and tighen down the bolts good.|||Have you ever tried anything like this before? Do you have the tools necessary? You might do yourself a favor and look in the repair manuals sold in auto stores to see what the job entails. Good luck!
