If you add dual flowmasters to your Dodge Charger will your warranty get voided?

I just bought a 2009 Dodge Charger. I want to add a Viper alarm/remote start and dual flowmasters. Will Dodge void my warranty because I added the remote start and the dual flowmasters to the car?|||no they wont void the warranty just because you added those things to it,anything that affects the emission system might void it but adding mufflers wont void it nor will the remote start, good luck.|||more than likely not, the only way this can void the warranty is if they can make a direct connection with the upgrades to the problem with the car.

if you ruined your transmission it should e covered because adding an exhaust system doesnt increase the power of the car significantly enough. if you added a turbo or supercharger or anything that makes significant power then that would void the waranty probably|||NO! I added the same stuff to my 07 R/T and have had no problems. Internal engine modifications or removing the cats will void it. If you decide to run a diablo tune and you need warranty work done just take it out, and put it back after the work is done. I hope you enjoy your Charger as much as I do mine. we welcome new members and have a line on everything at good prices you'll ever need.|||No, They would have to prove that the installation of the aftermarket parts was the root cause of the failure, and in many cases that is just not possible Now if your exhaust shop damages something while installing them, that wont be covered. Enjoy your new wxhaust :)|||Well, making any modification will void the warranty, BUT! Ultimately its up to the dealer. Mopar has no way of knowing the car isn't stock, unless the dealer tells them. So, in a nut shell its up to your local dealer. Ask them nicely. This is ,if you don't go too far from home! Good luck!~Dan|||When you alter your emissions equipment, and the exhaust is emissions equipment, as long as it is 50 state legal then you are O.k.|||yes
