Okay i have a dodge stratus right now and i was woundering what i could put in it that would make the sound system sound really good but not being too much like \

what type of subwoofers? how big?

what amp? how many watts?

and head unit?|||Ok. Here's the problem. Your asking others what system you should have in your vehicle. Finding the type of system you should have is something you have done some research on. Because a system should be the way YOU want it to be. Because everyone has their own opinion on what you should use. There are a lot of brands out there. I would suggest on the head unit that you look at the features and capabilities. As far as the amp and subs. You always want to match watts on the amp to the watts on the subs whether it be 10's, 12', or 15's. 10's and 12's are the most popular subs to use. They don't take up that much room. Just do a little bit of research on the Head Units, amps, and subs that you are interested in, to make your decision. Because what is great for 1 person sucks for another. It's all about opinion. I hope this helps.|||I have 2 12" Infinity 1252W subs. Personaly I love them. I think they were the best sounding subs in the store. Expect to get what you pay for though. Those 2 subs ran me around $315 from best buy with a 4 year free replacement warranty. All in how much you want to spend and how good you want it to sound is up to you. If you like to bump to some bass aim for the bigger subs, but if you like rock or metal i would recomend somthing smaller like a 10". Head units are priced on features such as user friendlyness, # of pre-amp outputs, the power they generate, and any extra features like iPod hook ups or satilite radio. Your amp will be bassed upon your subs or if your hooking it to your cars speakers also. Look to match the amps rms watts with the subs rms watts and offf course double the number for each sub. So say you have 2 300watt rms subs you would need a 600watt rms amp. Go to your local bestbuy they are alot of help. all other electronics stores dont know their info or well at least in IN they dont lol hope i helped|||i would suggest sony explode. there systems aren't to expensive but have a nice quality of sound. i had a 93' dodge dakota and i had 2 5 1/2's in the doors and 2 4x6's in the panels behind the seat and a 10'' sub with a scosche 550 amp and it sounded as good as anything else in town.

good luck finding a system|||I just put HD radio in my Subaru, it is awesome. You might want to check it out. (JVC)
