How can i get my 99 dodge dakota to sound good?

It's a 1999 dodge dakota 3.9L v6 sport 4x4 reg cab the truck has a cold air intake that gives a deeper grumbling sound . I was told to use thrush mufflers but i dont know what those sound like. I want it to sound good and not like a bumble bee. what size pipes should i use? what kind of muffler should i use? and will it sound good without headers?|||While you can change the sound of the V-6, it will never sound like a V-8. What you can do is just put a flowmaster, or magnaflow muffler on the vehicle. It should make it should a bit better than stock.|||Yeah, if you don't have a V-8, don't even bother wasting your money. It will still sound like crap. Save up for a V-8.|||stacks
