Where can I find replacement factory parts for a 1981 dodge quad cab?

LMC Truck would be the PERFECT place, and that's exactly what kind of site I'm looking for. The problem is, LMCT only stocks parts far back as a 1994 dodge.

So does anyone else know where I can find/buy OE parts for a 1981 dodge quad cab? I've heard quad cabs are rare for that year of dodge, but what I'm really looking for is the front clip, and other little doodad parts to restore one.|||Well your front clip Should be common, as All Ram's of that year used the same front clip regardless of Body Style.

However you are correct, Quad cab Rams pre 1994 Are extremely Rare. One of my Favorite all time Trucks, lucky you!

Try this

You can always change it, if thats not your specific vehicle, they have alot of parts there, but you can't choose the Quad Cab specifically.

It does suck that LMC doesnt go pre 1994 on the Dodges, even though they do with Fords and Chevys.

Anyway from one Ram owner to another (I have a 99 Quad Cab myself) Good Luck!!

Mopar or No Car!!|||unless you find someone with an original parts list for it and has the part numbers for all the parts you need you may not find what your looking for on it,the parts do exist though, its just that chrysler no longer has the original parts list and some of the parts are sitting in warehouses all over the place waiting to be sold off at auction or to the person who wants to buy all of them at a reasonable price, the reason i know this to be true a friend of mine bought a truck load of tail lights and turn signal lights from gm about ten years ago,and little did he know he bought a gold mine,it was all the old lights for the old chevelles and camaro,s original parts too, some of the parts still exist its just that no one knows how track them down, without a current part number to work off of these parts may go undiscovered,i found two original fenders for a 66 dodge dart gt that was sitting on a dealers shelf and had been their since the early 70.s, go to this web site and see if they got the parts list book for that truck, that's a good starting point then call around and give the numbers to some of the dealers and let them run them through and see if any other number supersedes it,then you might find what your looking for on it,good luck with it. http://bishkobooks.com
