My car is a 1993 Dodge Dynasty. Can I push it with another vehicle without deploying airbag?

It is a 1993 Dodge Dynasty. It is stuck down at the base of my driveway. I have a chevy truck also. I could push the Dodge into the driveway, but it would be best if I could push the front bumper of the car with the truck. What if I managed to push the back bumper of the car? Would either one cause the airbag to deploy?

Pushing by hand is not possible. This is remote area, no neighbors. And we are two females (mother/daughter), but both physically impaired.

Thanks.|||disconnect the battery and wait 5 min. this will disarm the air bags.|||broke both side lights on the front. Tore off the license plate. But all in all, the cost to repair will be less than the cost of a wrecker, and thanks to you guys, the air bag did not deploy.

Hallelujah!

|||You can push on the back bumper all you want with no danger of the airbag going off. You can push on the front bumper too, but not with a really hard jolt. It takes a fair hit to set off an airbag, but I do not want to tell you to go ahead and take a run at it. Any chance of hooking a rope or chain on and pulling it?|||You can probably push the vehicle without the airbags deploying as long as you drive up to the vehicle very slowly and make sure the vehicles dont hit hard and just lightly touch, However, if I where to ever do this I would remove the fuse for the airbag first and then push the vehicle and you can't go wrong. Have Fun!|||your air bag wont go off. get something soft to put between the bumpers ( like a tire without the rim, or an old bed comforter) .

go very slow if the dynasty is in nuetral it will roll easy. have someone steer and brake the dynasty. go slow take your time. the key here is steady pressure to push gently and not to bang into the car.

be careful and remain in the vehicles dont get out of the vehicle untill it is stopped.

Safety first!|||As long as you don't hit it at more than 30 miles per hour, it won't deploy.

Make sure the key is ON, like you're driving it so the steering wheel turns.

Put the car in neutral. Otherwise it won't move.

Be prepared to push HARD on the brake pedal. There is no "power assist" with the engine off.

The brakes will work, just very hard to make them work.|||Well it may not go off usually it takes a 20mph impact to pop the air bags. You should be OK but to be safe disconnect the battery before you move it.|||As long as the pusher doesn't RAM it at speed, your airbag will not deploy.|||battery positive post off|||Its best to get a chain but you got to know how to hook it up. Pushing will do damage. Figure on new head lights and more
