How does the Dodge Owner Loyalty program work when buying a new car?

My wife and I are looking to replace my 12 yr old car with a new one. Most likely a Dodge. We especially like the lifetime powertrain warranty that they offer.





One dealer asked if we owned a Dodge vehicle and I told him that we did but not any longer. My question is this - Does the dealer verify that you actually own the brand they are selling? If so, how?





Thanks!|||That is just a sales gimmick. They will probably just take your word for it and give you the discount. Maybe you will have to fill out some form or something. The only way to find out is to visit the dealership and ask.
